The old adage is true: “It’s not what you know; it’s who you know.”
This is especially true when it comes to getting published. Come on, you knew that already, didn’t you? I mean, look at all the junk that ends up on book shelves. You didn’t think that it just had to do with being a good writer, did you? Lord knows that there are plenty of those.
